Downtown Eastside Walk-In Dental Clinic

This is a low cost  not-for-profit clinic that offers affordable dental care to the residents of the Downtown Eastside. The clinic's focus is primarily on the relief of pain. The clinic is staffed with volunteer dental professionals and the hours vary. Please call to inquire about hours.  This clinic works on a donation basis (although donations are not mandatory), accepts ministry coverage, and native status patients.  This is an emergency clinic and operates like VGH hospital. The most urgent needs are treated first, with priority to people from the downtown east side.



Other clinics around the city also offer services for low cost or sometimes free.  The type of service each clinic is able to offer varies so you'll want to call ahead and see what they can offer.

This clinic offers dental treatment and prevention for children under the age of 6. It also offers emergency services for children up to Grade 7 who do not have dental insurance.
