We produce a printer friendly Affordable Housing Summary of the Vancouver, BC area, with only those housing listings that would be affordable to those on fixed or limited income are shown. The list is prepared from various Community papers and select on-line rental databases. We try and update the list every few hours during the week. We also have a new Housing Search for more selective reports and searching a wider area. This list if also filtered as much as possible for appropriate listings.

Because of requests from our uses we are also looking into how we mayassist people that need Disability Access. We gather this informationwhen we can from sources and provide the results in one easy list. Thelist is not very comprehensive, but we are advocating on your behalf toextend this list.


What is Affordable Housing: Only those housing listings that would be affordable to those on fixed or limited income are shown. And within the Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, Vancouver Delta, Richmond, Surrey areas only.


Housing for Seniors

We have partnered with Seniors Services Society and provide a link to there Housing Services Page. They provide many services including:

  • Seniors Housing Directory of BC - A searchable province wide directory of housing options for seniors residences in BC (55 and above).
  • Housing Counselling - General information on services provided by Seniors Services Society Housing Counsellors.
  • Homeless Outreach - Services provided to those individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
  • Temporary Housing Program - Older adults as a group are poorly served by the existing homeless shelter system, Seniors Services Society has undertaken this project to address this need.
