Affordable Food:  Once you have a place to live you also need food in your fridge.  For $25 one adult can receive enough food for an entire week of meals that includes vegetables, fruit, dairy, meat, and other items from all the recommended food groups for healthy living.  Check out prices and family plans.

Addictions and Housing:  Sometimes the troubles in our lives keep us from finding the motivation and strength to even look for housing.  Christian 12-step meetings and support groups offer help and encouragement for us at the deepest level of our pain and need.
