75 Positive Character Traits for you to IdentifyOur character is what we are. The dictionary defines character as the ways a person feels, thinks or acts. It is moral firmness, the expression of positive qualities in our lives. Life teaches us to accentuate the negative and overlook or be blind to the positive in others. The Bible teaches us to bless people with the 5A's of Acceptance, Affection, Appreciation, Approval and Attention.
The Devil hates people who speak the five A's of blessing so he gets us to speak words of cursing from his deadly six pack of curse words. They are Degrading, Derisive, Derogatory, Destructive, Displeasing and Disapproving words and looks.
The following are some suggested ways to use this exercise:
- Use it to gain a deeper appreciation of people you associate with.
- Use it as a prompter to write words of blessing and appreciation in special occasion cards. It will give your card an eternal dimension.
- Use it as a parenting tool for the development of character in your child's life. Parents can lose sight of the positive qualities in their children. This will help you get excited about some of the ways your child is growing. It will also identify areas that require attention.
