Prayer To Receive Blessing From God For Every Need Today

We pray today to receive God's blessing - His favour and protection - on us, on those we love, on our land, and on all that this day holds. Let's be renewed and energized as we pray together today.
Well, the song "The Blessing" has truly been a blessing. I've seen several versions of it - have you? I'll post some links. Let's let the goodness of God settle on our souls today.
This song is based on one of the most famous blessings in the Bible and it's a wonderful blessing - how God instructed that His name be put on people. So, we'll pray that blessing and others today as we look to God to pour out His goodness on us and on those we love - even to the generations of our children and their children to the thousandth generation. How wonderful is that!!

Heavenly Father, right from the beginning of creation you have blessed people, blessed their work, blessed a day of rest. You are a God who loves to pour out good things into our lives. You have favor and protection in abundance for us today. Help us to open our hearts to You to receive all You have for us as we put our trust in You and walk in Your ways.
God blessed them and said to them,
“Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.
Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky
and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:28
I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands. Exodus 30:6 NLT
With the writer of Psalm 67 we pray:
God, have mercy on us and bless us. May you be pleased with us.
Then your ways will be known on earth. All nations will see that you have the power to save.
God, may the nations praise you. May all the people on earth praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy. You rule the people of the earth fairly. You guide the nations of the earth.
God, may the nations praise you. May all the people on earth praise you.
The land produces its crops. God, our God, blesses us.
May God continue to bless us.
Then people from one end of the earth to the other will have respect for him.
Psalm 67:1-7
So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you
to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power
to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.
Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him.
This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.

In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem.
