Prayer Affirming the Beauty and Value Of My Life

Life Affirmation #2

“My life is of great beauty and infinite value. God has a plan for my life that is meaningful,purposeful, and joyful.”

God created us in love for a life of meaning and purpose that is far beyond what we have known so far.  Some of us wandered into addiction because life felt empty and we were looking for something to fill us up.  Sadly, we made the wrong choice.  Not only were we not filled up, but after a time in addiction, we were empty and in worse shape than when we began. 

God’s plan for our lives hasn’t changed even though it’s taken us a while to get to this place where we are actively seeking to know and do God’s will in all our affairs.

But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.  Exodus 9:16

Prayer:  Loving God, You have promised to give me the desire for Your will to be done in my life and the power to carry it out.  I’m asking for both of those today.  Use my life to demonstrate Your goodness wherever I go.  Amen
