Communication
Regular and effective communication has been known to be a key factor in success in business, in marriages – really in any area of life where human beings are part of a something bigger than themselves.
Our God has been in the communication business for a long time thankfully, every word God speaks is flawless. What God says doesn’t need to change over time. It’s accurate today and always will be. We can find safety and take refuge in what He tells us.
Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar. Proverbs 30:5-6
Today I’m so glad we can come to God and receive any explanations that are necessary for our well-being today and also ask for guidance needed going forward.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are speaking to us with clarity and helping us know exactly what’s going on in our thoughts and in our hearts. Thank You for how You speak to us as we read the Bible and how Your words of life sort us out and settle us down when life is chaotic and confusing around us. We need clear priorities and instructions in these uncertain times and You are providing them to us in Your word.
Thank you also for clearly speaking to us about how much You love us. You did this through the life and death of Jesus Christ.
You fill us with hope and it’s so good to know that nothing can overwhelm what You are doing and how You are sustaining all things. You are working out Your purposes and lighting up our lives with joy and peace through Jesus.
Help us to effectively communicate blessing and encouragement. We want to be people of grace and truth. So, fill our hearts with thankfulness and blessing and love so we communicate that in every way with everyone we meet. Speak Your heart through us today, we pray. Amen
Let’s give our best effort to communicate well with God and those we meet today. Have a great day.
