Precious Promises
Tuesday May 6, 2014

Jesus said, “Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20 NLT)
“God is always with me. I need never face my problems alone…” When we feel like avoiding difficult and seemingly impossible situations the good news is that God is always with us. We are never alone. When we purposefully trust God’s goodness and His willingness to help us, we can stay in the center of what is going on and see God do something that we’ve never experienced before. God is the God of solutions. God specializes in impossible situations and desires to do good things for the children He dearly loves. The only way we get to learn how good God is, is to walk with Him through a seemingly impossible situation and see how He does what He says He will do. When God comes through for us our faith in His goodness will be something we actually see and believe. The key to this knowledge of God is to stay the course with Him and see how He works all things together for good.

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (2 Corinthians 1:20-22 NIV)

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:17-18 NIV)
Are you crying out for help? God is listening and He is ready to rescue you. God promises fullness of life to all who believe. Are you ready to receive?
