God’s Good Plans For Me

Day after day we say we want life. Many of us have come to the place where we realize that on our own, our lives are unmanageable. We realize we need a power that can restore us to a life worth living. Today’s good news is that God is speaking to us with clear direction to take us forward in that journey.
A familiar slogan says, “Your worst day with God will be better than your best day without Him.” Nothing could be truer. We live in a world that encourages us to push hard to know and bring about our own destiny. So many of us are stressed out and weighed down in that struggle. How can we determine what those plans are and then have the strength and resources to actually see them through to completion on our own.
God says, “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG)
God’s plans for us are more creative, more amazing, and more fulfilling than anything we would try to put in place for ourselves and, God promises us the power to live in fulfillment of those good plans.
Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2 NLT)
Rather than continuing in our own stressed out and panicked plans for today, now is a good time to focus in on God’s direction and allow God to show us His plan that will actually help us achieve what He alone knows we are longing for.
