How You Can Help Others

Volunteer Opportunities
Give of your time and receive much more in return. In order to care for those that are in desperate need, Partners in Hope depends on the contributions of people like you. We provide a number of opportunities for individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses to get involved in our ministries and have a significant impact on someone's life. Click here for a list of volunteer opportunities or contact the office at:  604-215-0335 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Doing Whatever is Needed

Do you like what you see here but live too far away from Vancouver to volunteer here?

Do you see a need for some of these services in your community?

Is your church looking for help to get started reaching out to the community in practical ways?

We want to share what we've learned in the hope that others will start their own ministries.

Start Your Own Food Co-op

It's easier than you think to have a food co-op in your community.  Here are the materials we use to publicize and organize the food co-op.

Sample database files for recording client information in ways that sort delivery routes, provide labels for boxes, and organize an inventory for shopping are also available upon request.  Call the office at 604-215-0335 or write us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Our co-ordinator is available to visit your community with helpful information to help you get started.

Run your Own 12-Step Meeting

Want to have a meeting in your community or church that provides a place for individuals to recover from addictions and dependencies?  Here are all the materials that we use in our meetings.  Use what works for you.  Adapt formats to what is useful in your setting. Here's everything you need to organize and facilitate a Christian 12-Step meeting. Click here for 12-Step Meeting organizing materials.

Prison Visitor Volunteer Information

Come and enjoy a unique on-on-one setting for supportive conversations.  Volunteers are matched to inmates and spend time together every two weeks inside the prison.  We are grateful to partner with our friends at M2/W2 Restorative Justice Ministries who have been bringing a presence of loving support to inmates for more than 40 years.  Information to help you get started:

  • Donating online (Secure one time or recurring transactions using your credit card)
  • Including us in your planned giving (Deferred gifts, through estate planning)
  • Giving towards our special projects (Helping us reach unique goals that we're working towards)
