Donations for meals, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day:

  • Donations : $25 will buy 10 meals -- donate online or send a cheque to Partners in Hope, 557E 21st Ave, Vancouver, BC  V5V 1R5
  • Or Items Needed : Turkeys (9 -- have 5, need 4), Hams (have 2 on hand), frozen veggies(18kg), salad (6 large bags), fruit and nuts, hors d’oeuvres (6 boxes of each)  (chicken wings, sausage rolls, mini quiche, mini pizzas), veggie or cheese trays (2 large or 6 small) -- 

Donations for Gift Bags:

Approximately 700 of each of the following:

  • Socks -- 700 -- already on hand - Thank you
  • Gloves –100 on hand -- 200 mens gloves needed
  • Tooth brushes -- 700+ already donated -- Thank you!!
  • Tooth paste -- 400 donated, 300 still needed
  • Kleenex tissues – small individual packets -- 700 on hand -- Thank you!  
  • Deodorant -- 250 on hand.  Thank you.
  • Pens -- 700+ already donated -- Thank you!
  • Razors (Disposable) -- 500 on hand -- 200 needed
  • Lip balms-- 350 on hand -- 150 still needed
  • Shampoo (2 in 1 kind is the best) 185 on hand --65 needed
  • Body Wash - 200  on hand.  Thank you! 
  • Hair Ties - 700 on hand  - Thank You!

Also

  • 3000 bite size candy bars, etc. (Hallowe'en candy size) -- a few hundred still needed
  • 700 Hot Chocolate packets:  (in boxes of 40 or 50) -- 400 on hand -- 300 needed
  • 700 Hot Apple Cider packets (in boxes of 40 or 50) -- 300 on hand -- 200 needed
  • 700 Individually wrapped packets TEA (ie. Earl Grey)  -- 500 on hand -- 200 needed
  • Wrapped chocolate balls  -- 20 bags on hand -- 10 needed
  • Red/green gumdrops (plastic tubs at Wal-Mart/Superstore) -- 24 on hand -- Thank you!
  • 700 candy canes (12 or 14 in a box) -- 700 on hand -- Thank you!
  • Jelly beans etc.  (plastic tubs at places like Superstore)   -- 12 on hand -- 12 needed
  • 500 cheese and cracker snack packets - 300 on hand - 200 needed
  • 500 energy bars - 400 on hand - 100 needed
  • 500 microwave popcorn -- 300 on hand -- 200 needed
  • 300 packets of instant noodles - 300 needed
  • 700 Christmas bows -- 700 on hand.  Thank you.  
  • 20 Packages of 800" Christmas wrapping paper -- 20 on hand.  Thank you.
