Friday, August 9, 2013 -- God's Amazing Plan
Friday August 9, 2013

God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. Ephesians 1:9-11 (NLT)
From before the beginning of time, God had a wonderful plan that included relationship with you and I based in love and creativity, trust and obedience. God chose us to belong to Him. Even though we made choices on our own that went against God’s plan and caused problems, God had a master plan that makes it possible for everything to fit into his plan and purpose. It’s time for us to “get with the plan.”

For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:9 (NLT)

Jesus Christ is God’s plan. Jesus was given to us to be our Saviour so we could live in this wonderful relationship with God. God pours out His love and grace into our lives today and as we open our hearts and receive what God is giving, we experience the satisfying and joyful life as God planned it for us. We don’t earn it. We don’t deserve it but it has always been God’s plan to be a Loving Father to us and to have us live with Him as cared for sons and daughters. Let’s “get with the plan” and enjoy the wonderful life God has in mind for us.
