Times And Seasons (1)

The leaves have changed and most have fallen. Days have shortened considerably from long and sunny summer hours. Around the world clocks will soon change back to standard time from daylight savings time. Seasons are changing.

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven ... Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart. (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11 NLT)
Whether we are recognizing the changing season in nature around us or noticing changes in our personal seasons of life, it’s great to know that God has all of it safely held in His loving hands.

From one man he made all the people of the world. Now they live all over the earth. He decided exactly when they should live. And he decided exactly where they should live. God did this so that people would seek him. Then perhaps they would reach out for him and find him. They would find him even though he is not far from any of us. (Acts 17:26-27 NIRV)

How incredibly comforting it is to know that the God who created the universe and set the laws of nature in place, has the time and desire to watch over our lives, deciding exactly when and where we should live. God offers a relationship of caring and overseeing that can help us relax and enjoy new sights and smells around us as we journey through changing seasons. God is always with us. We can face anything with confidence and joy because God is making all things beautiful for its own time.
