Hope For Today "Serenity"

And  the winner is – oh my, what emotions that puts in the hearts of so many at such announcements. Why? Money is often seen as the source of contentment and happiness. The Bible shows us a better way to that peace.

What are you afraid of today?  What kinds of things easily make us fearful?  What can we do so our emotions and behaviour choices are not controlled by our fears?  God keeps it simple for us.

Jesus believes that human beings have influence.  You and I were created to bring comfort and support and assistance to others on our life journey and to experience goodness for ourselves as we do.

God blesses those who work for peace.  We all want to live in God’s blessing so let’s give ourselves to working for peace today. 

Mercy is the act of being compassionate or kind toward someone who does not deserve it.  God showed mercy towards us by sending Jesus into the world, not to condemn us for our sin, but to save us from it. This is the source of true and enduring peace. It’s our model in responding to others in a way that brings peace to all of us.
