Hope For Today "Humility"

There is so little that we finite human beings know about what is going on in our world – both the world around us and the world of our soul.  Jesus knows so much more and is so ready and willing to help us navigate things in a way that will be helpful all around.

Today we consider the priority God gives us to give an account of ourselves to Him rather than spending time and attention passing judgment on others.

What do we want to know? What do we actually need to know today in order to be successful and have a good day?

I’m sure you’ve heard as I have this saying, "Let your conscience be your guide." God has given us a conscience as a tool to help us know right from wrong but we need to always surrender that conscience to God and His truth. Why?

Jesus knows the way to please our Heavenly Father and He knows the way humans displease Him. Jesus, every day, is watching over us and praying for us.  What a privilege it is for us to have someone who knows both sides of the life God has called us to praying for us.

I’m so glad that we can come to God, not necessarily having all the thoughts and words sorted out that we need to say, but trusting God to know us and want to bless us, just because we come. God wants us to let go of yesterday, leave tomorrow with Him, and just work together on today.
