God desires to have a relationship with each one of us.  He pursues us with His love.   He wants the very best for His children and therefore He speaks clearly through His word.  God sent His son Jesus into the world, not to judge the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Do you desire to know what God says about His children? Listen to some of the things God’s mirror, the Bible, speaks to us through Psalm 119 (NLT):

Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord.  Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts.  They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths. (vv1-3)

You made me; you created me.  Now give me the sense to follow your commands.  Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. (vv73, 18)

I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure.  The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand. Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. (vv162, 130, 105)

God loved us so much that He sent Jesus into the world to die for us so that through Him we might have eternal life.  Today, let’s see into the mirror of God’s word and allow yourself to be changed into the person God created you to be?  The mirror of God’s word advises us,

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror.  You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.  (James 1:22-24 NLT)

Today, why not ask God that the mirror of His word would draw you closer into the light of His presence.
