Meditations on "Truth"

When our hearts are surrendered to God, we will desire to choose God’s way rather that our own flawed way.

Where we have done wrong, we promptly admit it and allow God to show mercy to us and grant us His forgiveness.

The Big Book of AA describes the significance of our problem with self-centeredness in this way: “Many of us had moral and philosophical convictions galore, but we could not live up to them even though we would have liked to. Neither could we reduce our self-centeredness much by wishing or trying on our own power. We had to have God's help."

God, who has begun a good work in us, will see it through until Jesus comes again.

We need to deal with our feelings about a person in a "let go and let God" way.

As long as we are living and breathing there is still hope because God continues to invite us to a new life with Him.

It’s time to confess that we cannot do life on our own and seek God to help us change our ways.

Jesus is with us. He offers us a relationship that will fill our hearts with peace and joy. When we open our hearts to Jesus, He will teach us how to have a deep and abiding relationship with Him, and with others.

As we spend time with God each day and practice His teachings, He gives us a discerning heart to know His ways.

God knows our past, our present, and our future, and will work everything together for our good because of His great love for us.

When Jesus says our wrongs are forgiven, they are truly forgiven.

We need not be troubled or allow doubts to sink us. Jesus is always with us, ready to reach out and help us.
