Enduring Love
In many places in the Bible we read that God’s love endures forever. We can assume from this truth that when we give our will and life over to God’s care His extravagant love for us will endure throughout eternity. The very heart of God is love and nothing will ever change that. We are encouraged in our relationship with God and with others to have faith, hope, and love, and are told the greatest of these qualities is love.

The three most important things to have are faith, hope and love. But the greatest of them is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13 NIRV)

Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart and soul, this love that comes from God. (1 John 4:15-16 MSG)

When we see the work of God in our lives it inspires us with hope. The perfect love of God will cast out all fear of the future for we know that, despite any failings we may have, His love is strong enough to carry us through because it endures forever. Even when we are unfaithful, God remains faithful. When we confess our sin, He cleanses us from everything that would hinder our relationship with Him.
There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love. (1 John 4:18 MSG)
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am so thankful that Your love endures forever. Please help me to leave fear behind and to be fully transformed by Your love so I have hope to endure whatever may come my way in the future. Amen
