Meditations on "Forgiveness"

From before the creation of the world God planned, through Jesus’ death and resurrection, the amazing gift of forgiveness and eternal life with Him for each one of us.

We do not face any crisis alone, we do it with God, and He has committed to helping us be overcomers.

Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our Traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.

The building block for living well in recovery with God is changing our mind about who is responsible for our brokenness and how we got to where we are.

We make direct amends to the people we have harmed, except when to do so would further harm them or others.

Let’s not waste time on trying to get even and instead co-operate with God and really get ahead

Following through requires that we be like Jesus and do the will of God no matter the cost

Forgiveness is the only way to stop the ongoing pain from buried grudges.

If someone was to evaluate our daily interaction with others, would they describe us as gentle or harsh?

God has given us spiritual friends to accompany us on our journey to recovery. 

Forgiving others is something we must take very seriously if we want to protect our sobriety.

God calls us to overcome shame by living in community with Him and with others.
