Meditations on "Obedience"

With God’s help life will be better than we ever imagined or thought possible.

Who can show us the way out of darkness into the light? Jesus says He is the Light and if we follow Him, we won’t have to walk in darkness but will have the Light that gives life.

Only obedience to the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit can keep us from returning to familiar patterns.

This love recognizes the gifts that God gives each person, and our need for one another, so we can be complete

One of the best ways to overcome temptation is to stay as far away from what tempts us as we possibly can.

As we give to God and to others, God promises that we will receive back what we have given abundantly multiplied

We need to learn to “say what we mean and mean what we say.”

We all are a mixture of strengths and weaknesses and in His love, God wants us to come to a realistic assessment of ourselves

God not only works on our behalf but also strengthens us and teaches us valuable lessons from the things we have experienced.

As we act in faith and obey God, one desperate circumstance at a time, we will find that God will do all He promises.

Through prayer and meditation on God’s Word we can know God’s plan for our lives
