Meditations on "Gratitude"

God wants to help us know what is right and good. All we have to do is ask Him.

Outside of God, we can’t even maintain the desire to do what is right let alone find the strength to act on what we know we ought to do.

Today, I reaffirm my trust in Jesus, who has done for me on the cross what I could not do for myself

God’s plans for us are better than we could ask for or even dream about for ourselves

With God’s help life will be better than we ever imagined or thought possible.

This love recognizes the gifts that God gives each person, and our need for one another, so we can be complete

As we give to God and to others, God promises that we will receive back what we have given abundantly multiplied

Because of God’s unfailing love for us, we can look at our past with eyes wide open.

A renewed conscience clearly indicates what is morally right and good and gives warning when we are straying into wrongdoing.

As long as we are living and breathing, there is hope for us today.

The more often we make the choice to do things God’s way, the more often we will see that it was exactly the right thing to do at that time.

We are growing in our faith that God’s ways are good and are seeking His guidance before we act.
