Meditations on "Respect"

We are instructed to work hard, to give our work the best effort we can, and to be content with what we have.

God’s Power is awesome to save us from sin but, if we fail to reverence and follow God’s laws, our lives will be in danger. 

God promises to show us the way forward.

The wise are cautious and avoid danger; fools plunge ahead with reckless confidence. (Proverbs 14:16)

Are we satisfied with where we are right now or do we want ongoing spiritual growth?

We are to be those with stories of hope and comfort.

Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or AA as a whole.

Integrity is built over time as we diligently apply God’s teachings to the choices we make.

Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong

Experience over time is something treasured in recovery circles.

God now gets praise from others through the witness of our life with Him in recovery.
