Meditations on "Integrity"

Integrity can and will be developed in a person who lives according to the Word of God and whose confidence is in God alone.

We do a disservice to others when we continually do things for them that, with instruction, they can do for themselves.

To live in recovery is to live as respectful people, honouring God and those God loves. How does my speech reflect this?

Outside of God, we can’t even maintain the desire to do what is right let alone find the strength to act on what we know we ought to do.

Making amends is a test of our integrity to honour others above ourselves.

Security in life requires boundaries and limits to be established, particularly in the areas of our out-of-control desires and demands

In order to claim the promises of God we need to know the details of our inheritance as recorded in the Bible.

As we prayerfully review our lives with God, He will reveal where we have caused harm, and when we need to make amends with someone. He will also teach us new ways to live in relationship with Him and others.

As we leave behind worthless things and begin to put God’s principles into action, He will give us the courage and strength to continue to do what is right.

The contentment that God gives is priceless and cannot be bought with silver or gold.

This coming year is a fresh opportunity to go deeper in our experience of coming to believe that a Power greater than ourselves can restore us to sanity.

God wants us to use kind words in all circumstances so that the practice of gossip will decrease or stop altogether
