Meditations on "Wisdom"

Life with God in recovery requires an individual to be thorough in both their willingness to change and in their actions.

Written into our souls, from a power that transcends time and culture, are moral laws given by God.

We will honour someone today if we ask for and receive their advice in solving a problem we need help with.

Planning gives us peace in our hearts knowing that we have reviewed the specifics of how to get to where we are going, and what we need to get there.

This coming year is a fresh opportunity to go deeper in our experience of coming to believe that a Power greater than ourselves can restore us to sanity.

We make direct amends to the people we have harmed, except when to do so would further harm them or others.

As we obey God’s principles, and are plugged into the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will shine brightly through any darkness we may encounter.

To grow and mature and do well in any area of life requires commitment

God made us with a conscience where guilt reveals to us our wrongdoing.

We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

We need help from everyone who can enlarge our vision and broaden our perspective

We are invited to trust in a faithful and righteous God and ask Him to listen to our cry for help
