Meditations on "Surrender"

Getting to know the richness of God’s love for us will help us trust Him and surrender to His will.

Our God is a God of comfort to all who trust in Him. 

I know that God helps me. The Lord is the one who keeps me going. (Psalm 54:4 NIRV)

As we follow God’s guidance and allow God’s Spirit to mature the fruit of self-control in us, we will both be blessed and be a blessing to others around us.

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. (1 Corinthians 6:18 NIV)

Joy is a sign that a person is thriving rather than just surviving.

  If we are to reach maturity, we need to faithfully follow God’s principles in all our affairs.

Our ways are changing, and new life is developing in us every time we ask God to remove a character defect.

He (the Lord) is here, close by my side, so nothing can defeat me. (Psalm 16:8)
