Meditations on "Surrender"

Recovery begins when we admit that the power behind our addiction is beyond our control.

Will we, like Thomas, realize that something incredible happens when we ask Jesus to show us who He truly is?

God invites us to a gentle and humble way of life that gives us peace and fills us with joy.

As we make conscious contact with God a priority, He will faithfully change our desires.

As we follow God’s principles in all our affairs, we will experience great peace, and nothing will cause us to stumble.

God invites us to the peace and security of living in the truth that He truly does care for us.

God is more interested in our long term peace and stability than in our demands of the moment.

Today, I reaffirm my trust in Jesus, who has done for me on the cross what I could not do for myself

Our trust must be in God even when we don’t understand everything we are going through.

If we seek God throughout each day, He will encourage us and give us guidance to deal with those things that concern us

It is God’s plan that we not only know truth but believe truth, speak truth and reorder our lives so that all our actions reflect truth.

Security in life requires boundaries and limits to be established, particularly in the areas of our out-of-control desires and demands
