God commands us to honour our father and mother. This command may also be applied to our primary care givers.

What does speaking honourably have to do with recovery?

In our new life with God in recovery, can people depend on us when we give them our word or do they need a court order to enforce what we already said we would do?

God created us to live as honourable people – honouring God, honouring others, and experiencing the joy of living as a person of dignity and honour.

It is nice to be appreciated for something that we have done or achieved.

As humans, we tend to base our security on the depth of our personal relationships with those around us.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Recently on the news the story was told of two women who went into a Tim Horton's coffee shop, bought many doughnuts and cups of coffee and began to give them out to the next people who came in as a "random act of kindness.
