When some of us first came into recovery, we were so thankful to get away from the chaos of our addictive lifestyle that we were ready to do whatever it took to be free from the person we had become.

We want friends and family to be faithful to us and to be dependable to do what they promise.

For decades, people used an inventory called, "The Seven Deadly Sins" to help them recognize ways that were not in keeping with God’s laws.

What does speaking honourably have to do with recovery?

In our new life with God in recovery, can people depend on us when we give them our word or do they need a court order to enforce what we already said we would do?
