In recent weeks in Vancouver we've had the promise of sunny days taken away by fog that has settled over the city.

It's still early in this new year. Day 19 out of 365.

The song "Oceans" by Hillsong seems to be touching a chord in the hearts of people around the world.

I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in a way that is not good, According to their own thoughts; A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face; (Isaiah 65:2-3a NKJV) God says we have problem with rebellion.

The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out.

What a difference each day becomes when we walk and talk with God.

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.

I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
