Meditations on "Courage"

What are we going to do with the gift of today that God has given us?

As we spend time with Jesus, the Prince of Peace, we acquire qualities that make us more like Him.

Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper (Proverbs 13:4)

Clearly God knows that we need one another to successfully get ahead.

Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or AA as a whole.

Integrity is built over time as we diligently apply God’s teachings to the choices we make.

God promises to heal us and give us the power and strength we need to live the meaningful life we desire. 

Some of the most welcome words in life and in recovery circles are: "One day at a time" or "Just for today." 

We can ignore the fact that Jesus died for us and perish with our sins, or we can choose to accept that Jesus died to pay the debt for our sins and to give us the gift of an eternal relationship with the Living God. 

If we choose to do the right things, we not only find the life we long to have but will have a positive influence on others as well.

How can we be a person who stops gossip rather than one who contributes to its spread?

Have we ever considered that God is jealous for our attention?
