Coming to terms with our lifestyle in addiction requires us to admit that we have zero self-control where our dependencies are involved.

Few people are more aware of their need for God’s help to restore them to sanity than recovering addicts.

God’s Word often speaks about our enemies, and these are the “enemies of our soul.

Each day in recovery is an opportunity to learn something new and grow.

When we come to God and admit that we are helpless to live life on our own and choose to surrender our will and life into His care, we are born again to a new life.

We lost our way. That's an obvious fact. We fell into an addictive and destructive lifestyle.

We came into recovery because we knew life wasn’t working.

When we were in our addiction we didn’t take care of ourselves and now we realize our need for getting healthy and emotionally strong.

One of the coping mechanisms many of us use when dealing with low self-esteem and the humiliation of our past failures is the mask of arrogance.

Our pride often keeps us from asking to have our needs met.

Hitting bottom is the place we reach in our addiction where we finally admit that we have a problem and that we can't solve it on our own.

Why would we continue to live life in our own way when it obviously isn’t pleasing, not even to us?
