Meditations on "Recovery"

Do I matter? Does anyone notice me? Does anyone care?

Our former lifestyle of destructive life habits and addiction was harsh and filled with problems.

Canada is a nation founded on principles that honour the God who created us.

God created us to be in relationship with Himself and with each other.

A parent dies when a child is very young. Sexual abuse is inflicted on an innocent child or adult.

In the past, many of us have identified ourselves by the names people called us or by the labels they put on us.

As we become willing to have God remove our defects of character, we commit to being persons who desire God’s will instead of our own.

Just for today I will strengthen my mind. I will take a few minutes to read and meditate on God’s word, seeking God’s perspective for my life today.

“I am loved by God always; I am loved without condition.

Hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.

We are just moving into summer and hopefully looking forward to long hours and days in the sunshine.

In every area of our lives it is God's desire that we plan a good course.
