Meditations on "Relationship"

When you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Our parents or caregivers are deeply connected to our lives on many levels.

Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.

How do we enter into this friendship relationship with God that makes life safe and satisfying and guarantees us life, beyond the grave, in heaven?

God has invited us to an ultimate friendship with Himself through His son Jesus Christ.

God has given us spiritual friends who will walk with us in our journey in recovery.

Those living in destructive lifestyles of addiction are unable to sustain healthy friendships over time.

May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

God’s purpose in creating humans in His likeness was that they would be able to have a relationship with Him and would project His image on the earth, in the same way His image is projected in the heavens where He resides.

Who can we trust? Who's reliable? Who tells the truth?

The foundation of our new life in recovery is based on finding life with the one true God.
