Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me.

We have just celebrated Christmas and the New Year and now begin to ponder what the year ahead may bring for each of us.

Happy New Year! It's a time when lots of people desire a new start and look for opportunities in the year ahead.

Many of us face a new year wondering about the unknown.

Shoppers have filled the stores this Christmas season to get a special gift for a loved one.

Why do we celebrate Christmas? Why not just settle for a winter holiday of Santa and snow and parties and gifts?

At this time of year, as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ’s birth, some of us may have regrets about Christmases in our past.

The Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

….when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Prayer to our gracious God, and meditation on God’s word are tools that help us rebuild our lives with God in recovery.

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
