As we come into recovery programs we listen to and are supported by the experience, strength, and hope that others share.

Step Two: Came to believe that a power greater that ourselves could restore us to sanity.

Step One: We admitted that we were powerless over our dependencies, that our life had become unmanageable.

Death wrapped its ropes around me; the terrors of the grave overtook me.

In our state of powerlessness over our addictions we wonder if God could possibly value us as a person and be willing to give us a chance at life.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid?

Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

In the beginning God created us to live in conscious contact with Him.

I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
