Meditations on "Truth"

Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9 ERV)

When God is silent, He is not deaf or dumb.

He (the Lord) is here, close by my side, so nothing can defeat me. (Psalm 16:8)

Are we as genuine on the inside as we try to portray on the outside? 

The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love (Psalm 103:8)

God’s Holy Spirit enables us to change from being half-hearted in what we do to being fully surrendered to God.

Today is a good day to ask God to help us let go of our harshness and embrace the gentleness of spirit that allows our hearts and minds to be at peace.

“Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it”

Are we satisfied with where we are right now or do we want ongoing spiritual growth?

It's not easy, but "accepting hardship as the pathway to peace" can be life changing

The beliefs we form need to be compared with what God says is right and good and not by what is acceptable in our culture.

Only in Jesus can we truly be free from the powerful lies associated with obsessions, addictions, and dependencies, and only in the freedom that Jesus provides will our lives be happy, joyous, and free.
