Later Jesus said to them again, “I am going away.

As part of my work I've spent many hours in court rooms listening to testimony and the judgments/ decisions that judges pronounce based on the facts they've heard in a particular case.

What do we do when we look at our lives and discover that we've fallen short, that we've failed to live up to our own ideals?

To have God remove all our defects of character is to specifically ask Him to take away everything that hinders our ability to live fully in His love.

Which is easier? To stop drinking and drugging, overspending and gossiping, or to enter into a new life of caring and responsibility taking, giving back to family and community, being a person fully alive as I was created to be?
