Meditations on "Truth"

Step 5 – admitting to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

God was reaching out in love to each of us long before we ever knew Him.

Sometimes we plan our future as if we know everything and God, who made us in His image, is not very competent at what He does.

Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all who live in this world, both low and high, rich and poor alike: My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding.

For many of us it was pain associated with our addiction that brought us to recovery.

Who of us understands the reason we think and feel and react the way we do?

When we surrender our will and our lives into God’s care, He establishes a living connection between us and Him.

We are spiritual beings who have a soul and live in a body.

God created us to live forever, to be secure in His love, to live with curiosity and wonder, and to interact with other people and creation in ways that bless and bring joy to them.

God created us to live as honourable people – honouring God, honouring others, and experiencing the joy of living as persons of integrity.

God created us in love to be persons who reflect His goodness and glory.

Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all.
