We are to be those with stories of hope and comfort.

Clearly God knows that we need one another to successfully get ahead.

When we make a choice to walk with God, choosing to follow His ways, we will not be overcome by evil.

The beliefs we form need to be compared with what God says is right and good and not by what is acceptable in our culture.

Only in Jesus can we truly be free from the powerful lies associated with obsessions, addictions, and dependencies, and only in the freedom that Jesus provides will our lives be happy, joyous, and free.

We are human beings confined within the slice of time we call today.

While it is good to do our part to work towards solutions, in the end it always comes back to seeking God’s will in the moment and trusting God’s plan to work for us. 

Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or AA as a whole.

Just as water is essential for natural life, so being filled up with God’s Spirit is essential for spiritual life. 

It’s not our job to “fix anyone” but it is our God given responsibility to look with eyes of compassion and offer to lend a hand to those around us.
