As we hear Tradition 2 read in each AA meeting, we are reminded that, “For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority – a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience.

God wants us to live in victory over temptation. He promises that in every situation this is possible.

People with discernment usually do the right thing in each situation that arises.

God wants us to be responsible and generous with all He has given us – time, abilities, money, possessions.

As our time increases in recovery one of the enemies we need to be aware of and guard against is becoming complacent.

What comes to mind when we say or hear the word "serenity"?

He [God] gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

We came into recovery because we knew life wasn’t working.

When we were in our addiction we didn’t take care of ourselves and now we realize our need for getting healthy and emotionally strong.

Good eyesight is a great gift. With our eyes we can see and admire the beauty that God has put in our natural environment.

Three of the most comforting, encouraging, and life-giving words in the English language are, "I love you".
