Meditations on "Wisdom"

God’s Power is awesome to save us from sin but, if we fail to reverence and follow God’s laws, our lives will be in danger. 

Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9 ERV)

God says the good life comes from spending time with Him, allowing His Words to fill our hearts and His Spirit to guide us in the way we should go.

Giving our will and life over to the care of God means that we allow God to determine what is good for us, believing that He works all things according to His will for us

Turning our will and our life over to the care of God always involves action. 

The religious leaders saw themselves as the 99 good people who did not need to change.  Some of us are like them too. 

When we live responsibly, God will abundantly bless us.

We can’t change the fact that our world is imperfect, but we can choose our attitude. 

When we follow the ways of God, He will watch over and protect us as we rebuild our lives. 

God’s desire is that everyone may experience the abundant life He has planned for them.

Our sponsor or a trusted friend may have spoken to us about how we were getting off track, but we refused to listen ... and found ourselves moving towards relapse.

As we plan, God invites us to first seek His kingdom ways so that all things will work together for our good and His glory.
