Life is a gift. Our new life in recovery is not something we earn but something we are given.

Many of us who have experienced destructive lives in addiction have known the experience of being an “outsider”, of not really belonging, of feeling distanced or detached.

How does Jesus make us safe and secure? Jesus died in our place on the cross so that we could receive forgiveness for our sins.

On a regular basis, when you climb into bed at night, do you sleep soundly or do you count sheep?

O Lord, you are righteous, and your regulations are fair.

When we eventually come to that place where we live in peace with others around us, we may still encounter a person who is hostile.

When we were living for our own self-interest and feeding our addictions, it was easy to become consumed by our own wants or needs.

Recently, in our city, they celebrated the achievements of many people in the “Courage to Come Back Awards” ceremony.

This week we’ve been reflecting on a Biblical event of how God took care of a Godly man and a widow and her son who were facing a severe drought.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.

God always has good plans for us if we will consult Him.

Your laws are wonderful. No wonder I obey them! The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.
