Meditations on "Faith"

When we put our hope and trust in the unfailing love of God, we become His precious children, and our Heavenly Father rejoices over us.

Turning our will and our life over to the care of God always involves action. 

The religious leaders saw themselves as the 99 good people who did not need to change.  Some of us are like them too. 

It's time for us to step up and do whatever we can for the common good including praying for and working with those who are in authority.

God is on our side and God always does what He promises

God’s Holy Spirit enables us to change from being half-hearted in what we do to being fully surrendered to God.

The disciplines of prayer and meditation help us hear from God and correctly handle the ongoing events of our lives. 

Neither could we reduce our self-centeredness much by wishing or trying on our own power.  We had to have God's help."  (Big Book pages 62-63)

What seems impossible for us to believe becomes possible when God is involved. 

Growth in recovery and security come as we begin to believe that God will hold us steady while life shifts and turns around us. 

God will act on our behalf when we welcome His intervention.

Today we give thanks to God for the miracles we have already witnessed in our lives and the many more we will experience.
