Meditations on "Humility"

An important part of living with God in recovery is coming to an accurate view of what went wrong in our relationships and doing our part to make things right.

A humble life is grounded in a realistic view of ourselves.

God's purpose in creating humans in His likeness was that they would live in loving relationship with Him and with each other.

In a TV program a team of designers and builders make it their project to replace the inadequate home of a well-deserving family with a brand-new home.

We begin the process of changing our selfish way of living by turning our will and our life over to God’s care.

Our former lifestyle of destructive life habits and addiction was harsh and filled with problems.

Just for today I will seek to serve others with kindness, doing what is right, and walking humbly with God.

Our addictive behaviour was rooted in incorrect beliefs about relationships.
