It takes courage to live in recovery. Admitting that our lives were unmanageable, and we were powerless to sort ourselves out took real courage.

We started lying a long time ago to cover up and hide from the truth.

We all long to experience love from our family, friends, and people we respect.

When we bring our requests to God, do we come before Him with clean hands and a pure heart?

How far is the east from the west? It is a distance we can never travel and a destination we can never reach.

As we seek to live in recovery and face our troubles and challenges, it's easy to become discouraged and feel sorry for ourselves when things don’t seem to be fair.

God has given gifts to everyone; no one has been left out.

How many of us who have given our will and life over to the care of God have taken time to consider what we have received through making that decision?

There are many things about God to love but one of the most amazing is, even when we are running around in addiction and find ourselves in chaotic, life-threatening situations, if we call out to Him, God will help us.

What is the spiritual awakening we come to experience as we walk with God in recovery?

As we get to know God in this process of coming to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity, we’re often not sure that God will hear and answer our prayers.

Who wants trouble? None of us do and if we listen to God’s counsel there’s a lot of trouble we can avoid.
