We often give up on God before His plan for us, in His perfect timing, takes effect. Jesus’ death on Good Friday came before His resurrection on Easter Sunday. Things looked hopeless for Jesus’ followers during the time between those two events, but God was still in charge.

We may not know how to overcome all that is wrong, but today we can choose for a new way of living.

Few people are more aware of their need for God’s help to restore them to sanity than recovering addicts. What a relief it was to turn to God who was ready, willing, and able to receive and restore us.
