Meditations on "Surrender"

As long as we are living and breathing, there is hope for us today.

Life with God in recovery requires an individual to be thorough in both their willingness to change and in their actions.

We’re not stupid because of something we don’t know, we’re simply humans in need of teaching and encouragement.

Our neighbours shouldn’t suffer because all our love is centered on ourselves

If our desire is to live in a more loving way towards others, we need to know that we ourselves are loved.

We come to believe as we give God a chance to work in our lives and then watch how He does.

We will experience the freedom that gives us hope when we believe God’s promise to free us from our bondage.

We will need to persevere as we work to do things God’s way in all our affairs.

Planning gives us peace in our hearts knowing that we have reviewed the specifics of how to get to where we are going, and what we need to get there.

The contentment that God gives is priceless and cannot be bought with silver or gold.

May we choose to seek God today. As we are so often reminded, “God could and would if He were sought.”

To be “relapse proof” we must be fully surrendered to a life that prioritizes God’s will in all we think, say, and do.
