How many times in a day do we struggle with the character defect of impatience?

Peace and serenity are gifts to be received. To make room for them in our hearts requires surrender on our part.

Many people who choose for life with God in recovery think they can live any way they want as long as they attend meetings, complete an honest set of steps, pray on occasion, and don't pick up.

Addiction is a disease of isolation. That’s not news to those of us who have spent time there.

Many of us know from personal experience and from what we have seen and heard from others that the consequences of a lifestyle of drug or alcohol misuse are painfully destructive.

It’s time to confess the error of our ways when we choose to deal with life situations in the isolation of our own minds and hearts.

God is willing to support and strengthen us as we lay down our self-directed ways and invite Him to lead us along the path He has chosen for us.
