Meditations on "Truth"

Life is a journey and from its beginning to its end we are all influenced by the environment we live in.

In Step-7 we come to God and humbly ask Him to remove our shortcomings.

When Jesus was teaching His friends about prayer He said this: Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for.

When Jesus was before Pilate the Roman Governor to whom the Jewish leaders had brought Him, Pilate asked Jesus, ”What is truth?

Why do we look at another’s sin and want them punished for what they have done and then look at our own sin and want compassion and forgiveness?

In many occupations it is necessary to wear a uniform to identify the type of position that is represented and for protection against the elements a person may encounter in that profession.

To be flexible means that we are adaptable and willing to yield when circumstances require short or long-term change.

So many people think they know so much and over time most of us in some of these areas are proved wrong.

We are spiritual beings who have a soul and live in a body.

When we give our will and life over to the care of God we come out of darkness into His light.

When we come to believe that God forgives and saves us through Jesus and choose to turn our will and our life over to His care, God makes us His own.

Over the long haul, how do we prevent relapse into addictive behaviour and maintain our choice to live in the love and grace of God?
