Recovery Meditations

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Some time may have passed since we completed Step Ten and we may feel we have learned a lot and are well on our way in recovery.

Everyone faces unwanted hardship and troubles. Often hardship comes because we act in ways that are unwise and end up in circumstances we did not anticipate.

Confrontational people tend to approach situations with aggression.

We usually say an individual is “white knuckling” when they are just using willpower to stay sober.
