How do we enter into this friendship relationship with God that makes life safe and satisfying and guarantees us life, beyond the grave, in heaven?

God has invited us to the ultimate friendship with Him through His son Jesus Christ.

All through the Bible we read stories of how good friends cared for one another and helped each other draw closer to God and achieve the things God had prepared for them to do.

Friends trust and rely on each other. They may not always agree but will respect one another's differences.

GOD said, "It's not good for the Man to be alone; I'll make him a helper, a companion.

When Jesus started His ministry the leaders of the Jews and the people were unsure who He was.

Jesus said that He laid down His life for the sheep and that His Father loves Him for doing so.

Jesus, speaking as the Good Shepherd, said that His sheep knew Him and He knew His sheep.

Sometimes the people whom Jesus spoke to did not comprehend what he was saying even though he used everyday illustrations to help them understand who He was and where He came from.

On a regular basis, when you climb into bed at night, do you sleep soundly or do you count sheep?

Pride is a very destructive sin. It enables us to believe that if we put ourselves in charge of knowing and sorting out our lives, we will be just fine.

The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray.
